The Wicked Wolf Triathlon is an awesome off road fun Triathlon set in the infamous stomping ground of the mean and nasty Wolf of Badenoch, the notorious 14th Century Lord of Badenoch and Earl of Buchan, famous for terrorising the northern counties and sacking Elgin Cathedral. The route will take you over untouched hill and heather moorland towards Carrbridge and around the village, taking in views of the Cairngorms and the Badenoch and Strathspey Valley on the way.

The Wicked Wolf Triathlon is a fun event with a challenging route. It comprises of a 5km kayak section around the Wicked Wolf's ruined Castle, a 30km mountain bike race over the moor hill to Carrbridge, and a low level 9km woodland run around the outskirts of the village, topped off with a ceilidh and a boogie in the Village Hall afterwards, all in aid of Cancer Research UK.
