Firstly, thank you for pledging to raise money for Cancer Research UK, literally every penny you raise will go to Cancer Research and therefore go towards helping fight cancer.
We stress however that the suggested pledge amount is only a target amount, but please do your best to reach it. All sponsorship will be greatly appreciated, whatever amount.
Please bring your sponsorship form (or a copy) with you when you come to registration so we can make a note of the amount pledged by each competitor or team, this will allow us to give an estimated total on the day of the event.
You can also set up a personal Justgiving webpage, in aid of Cancer Research UK which goes directly to the charity.
Justgiving have updated their system this year so you can now set up a page specifically for the Wicked Wolf Triathlon.
- First go to www.justgiving.com/cancerresearchuk and click "make your page"
- Then enter your login details or create an account and click "make you page"
- This will bring you to a window which says "Taking part in an organised event" so click the "Organised event" button.
- You will then see a list of events run in aid of Cancer Research UK, scroll through the list (in date order) until you see the CRUK Wicked Wolf Triathlon on the 23rd July.
- Then click the event and choose your JustGiving web address and follow the instructions.
- You should now have your own JustGiving webpage which is directly linked to the Wicked Wolf Triathlon! This means everyone at CRUK can see how many people are raising money for the charity through the Wicked Wolf Triathlon and we should get an accurate final amount online - please remember to set your page to close after 3 months, when all sponsorship should have been collected. This allows CRUK to tally up a final total.
Please take a print out of your fundraising page and bring it with you to the event registration- this allows us to tally it up with your hard copy sponsor form to give us a total on the day of how much you have raised so far.
It is important that you take a print out of your page so we can take a note of your fundraising name, especially if you use a nickname on your page or you are collecting as a team rather than individually.
There is also a prize for “Most money raised” so be sure to tell us exactly what you have raised on the day!
Thank you!
